Occupational Certificate: Safety, Health and Quality Practitioner (Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner)

This Qualification is for those who want to enter the field of Health and Safety.
The qualification prepares a learner to operate as an/a Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner, serve as a facilitator and advisor to employees and management regarding safety and health aspects in the workplace including the monitoring and inspecting of the workplace, the recording and investigation of incidents and accidents.
This qualification is aimed at people who are already practising within the field without formal recognition as well as for those who wish to enter the field.

The programme duration is 1 month minimum.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the programme, learners will receive the Occupational Certificate: Safety, Health, and Quality Practitioner (Occupational Health and Safety Pracitioner) NQF Level 5 SAQA ID 99714 and an INTEC statement of results outlining the unit standards successfully completed.

Admission Requirements

Matric with Mathematical Literacy or equivalent Level 4 qualification with Mathematical Literacy.
